What A Wonderful World

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"

I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Oh yeah

I don't remember the first time that I actually heard Louis Armstrong sing "What A Wonderful World". I believe my mother had it on 45 and we played it when I was young. She gave us her record collection to keep me and my two siblings entertained. Anyhow, back to the present... I finally took the opportunity to photograph some hay bales down the road from my home and Louis sprang to mind. It is a wonderful world. I need to get outside and see it more. I just wish Sandi was here to share it with me.
